We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: We love chicken. It is great for basically any occasion and it’s really versatile when it comes to cooking and seasoning. That’s why today we will prepare two very different types of chicken skewer: One with a very western taste, and the other with a very eastern taste.

Let’s make some chicken!

Keto Chicken Skewer w/ Fine Herbs

Ingredients:

  • 1 Sweet Potato
  • ½ red bell pepper
  • ½ Eggplant
  • 1 Onion
  • 500 grams chicken breast, chopped
  • Dried thyme
  • Fresh Rosemary
  • Black pepper
  • Sugar free Mustard Seasoning

How to make:

  • Chop everything into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt eggplant separately
  • Skewer each ingredient, always leaving at least 3 vegetable pieces before adding another chicken piece.
  • Grill in medium heat until done.
  • Serve on a plate, and add fine herbs. Be sure you roll each skewer and sprinkle herbs on both sides.
  • Ground black pepper on top of the skewers and add dots of mustard seasoning on top of each chicken.

And with that, you have a failproof chicken skewer recipe that will succeed in pleasing just about anyone who you might have over for dinner. Now for the second one:

Teriyaki Chicken Skewer

Ingredients:

  • 1 onion
  • 1 Zucchini
  • 500 grams chicken breast, chopped

For the Teriyaki sauce:

  • 300 grams soy sauce
  • 100 grams erythritol
  • 20 grams unsweetened maple syrup
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 5 grams ginger root, minced
  • Arrowroot starch

How to prepare:

  1. Mix all ingredients
  2. Wait until the mix is very hot, then add a tablespoon of arrowroot starch
  3. Stir continuously until you feel a change in consistency.
  4. Repeat this step until you reach desired consistency.

How to make:

  1. Chop everything into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Skewer.
  3. Grill.
  4. Serve, then add Teriyaki sauce.
  5. Enjoy!

As you can see, both these recipes are quite easy to make and, more importantly, completely delicious. They go great with bacon and egg cups, or maybe some croissants, if you're feeling a little french.
